Recently, I had the privilege to photograph some very talented musicians in a concert setting. It was a great opportunity for me to expand my experience in photography and shoot in some very challenging lighting conditions.
One of the initial challenges was deciding which lens would work best for some of the proof of concept shots I wanted to get. I narrowed my selection down to the 70-200mm 2.8, 100mm 2.8, or 50mm 1.8. In the end I decided on ‘old faithful’ the 70-200mm 2.8. This would allow me to get some very tight shots as well as some actions shots.
Got some very good shots of the musicians expressions during their sets, and when they were in ‘the zone’, not to mention some close up of them with their musical instrument. Here is a subset of images as I still need to acquire consent of the others.
Thank you to those who allowed me this opportunity.
